Welcome to our new site.
As you will see, we do things a bit differently from other South African Boerboel breeders...
I was once told by a very wise young woman that... " it takes a village to raise a child" ... this same philosophy applies to how we at Proudfoot Kennels think of raising and caring for our Boerboels!
We strongly believe that Boerboels do much better mentally/physically/spiritually/emotionally if they live as family companions with a job to do! For that reason we have placed some of our Boerboels with truly special people in hopes that they some day may be able to carry on the Proudfoot name for future generations while working alongside our family. We do not want to have large numbers of Boerboels in our home as they each need special time with " their" people, individual training time, off the property socializing, and of course the trials and testing that each one goes through... it would be physically and financially impossible for me to take this role on!
So we have a few select dogs here on our property living with us, and the other "potential" puppies/dogs live elsewhere with all acreditation being given directly to their owners!!!
